The Down East Boys are adding a fresh chapter to their storied career and bringing a touch of Ireland to the Christmas season with their new holiday album, An Irish Christmas, available here from StowTown Records. Recorded in part with the prestigious RTÉ Concert Orchestra in Dublin, Ireland, the project carves a bold and exciting path for the group, blending rich harmonies with the lush, cinematic sounds of Celtic tradition. “Going to Ireland and recording with the RTÉ Orchestra of Dublin was the highlight of my 35 years of recording gospel music,” says group owner Ricky Carden. “We've added orchestra to many songs over the years, but being in that room when the full orchestra began to play was simply overwhelming. It's a celebration of the season unlike anything we've done before." To capture the full experience, a film crew accompanied the group to Dublin, documenting their recording, exploring and soaking in the Irish culture. The resulting documentary will air on Singing News TV throughout the holiday season, giving viewers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of An Irish Christmas and the inspiration behind the project.
Since 1985, the Down East Boys have remained one of gospel music’s most respected and beloved quartets, with numerous Number 1 hits and a devoted fan base. With An Irish Christmas, the group continues to innovate while staying true to the heartfelt message that defines their music. Distributed exclusively by Provident/Sony, An Irish Christmas is available on all digital streaming platforms worldwide.

GAINESVILLE, GA — The LeFevre Quartet is pleased to announce Joshua Horrell as the group’s new tenor vocalist. Horrell steps into the role following the transition of tenor Jonathan Price, who is stepping away from full-time ministry. After more than 25 years in music ministry, Jonathan shared that his decision to step away from full-time ministry came only after much prayerful consideration. “This has not been an easy decision,” he said, “but I have peace knowing it’s the right step in this season of life.” Jonathan expressed deep gratitude to his wife, Megan, and their children for their love and support through the years, and he spoke warmly of his time with the group. “Mike and Jordan LeFevre are without a doubt true men of God, and it has been an honor to work for such men of integrity,” he shared. “From my very first weekend with the LeFevre Quartet ten years ago, I knew I wanted to be part of this ministry. Mike, Jordan, and Daniel have become like brothers, and I’ll always consider them family.”
Joining the group as the new tenor, Josh Horrell said he is humbled and excited to carry on the quartet’s legacy. “The LeFevre name represents one of the most respected and enduring legacies in gospel music,” he shared. “To now be part of that history is a dream come true.” Horrell said he looks forward to hitting the road with Mike, Jordan, and Daniel and continuing to share the timeless message of hope and salvation through song. Group founder Mike LeFevre expressed both gratitude and anticipation during the transition. “Jonathan has been an incredible blessing to our ministry and to audiences across the country,” LeFevre said. “We are so thankful for his dedication, friendship, and faithfulness over his time with us. At the same time, we’re excited to welcome Josh and look forward to seeing how God will continue to use the LeFevre Quartet in this next chapter.” Jordan LeFevre added, “Josh brings an amazing voice and a genuine heart for ministry. From the first moment we sang together, it just felt right. We believe God has great things ahead for this group and for the people we’ll reach through the message of our music.” The LeFevre Quartet continues to tour, carrying on a legacy of excellence and devotion that has defined the group for generations. We’ve known Scott for several years, and have always appreciated his singing ability, but more importantly, his love for God, his sincerity, and his friendship. He has served as Baritone with The Guardians Quartet for the last five years.
“These gentlemen have been my heroes for many years," says Mullins. “I would go to the National Quartet Convention and see Greater Vision on stage performing with excellence and would dream of being able to stand side by side on stage with them. Now, God has allowed that dream to become reality. I am truly humbled to be a part of Greater Vision.

Nashville, TN (June 16, 2025) - After 13 years of faithful service, Matt Fouch has announced his departure as bass vocalist for Legacy Five.
“Thirteen years ago, Scott offered me the bass singing job with Legacy Five and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed and loved my time with the group,” Matt shared. “We have had the opportunity to share music all around the world... These are life core memories that I will forever cherish.”
Matt’s decision came after a season of reflection:
“COVID concert cancellations gave me an opportunity to be home with my family every night… and I absolutely loved it! Once concerts started picking back up again, I had the desire to transition out of being on the road.”
He honored a commitment to remain through Legacy Five’s 25th anniversary in 2024, and now, in 2025, he’s following the peace God has given him:
“When I shared this news with my family, Kingston (my 9-year-old son) said, ‘Does this mean you can spend more time with us?’ That’s when you know you are doing the right thing!”
Though he's stepping away from full-time travel, Matt isn’t retiring:
“I still intend to record and release some solo music and possibly fill in from time to time. And you never know what the future holds as seasons of life change.”
Legacy Five founder Scott Fowler offered this heartfelt tribute:
“To everything there is a season. King Solomon was right... Matt has sensed this season changing for quite a while now. He's been very up-front with me about this.
Matt, you have been a joy to work, sing and travel with. You always had a great attitude and great work ethic and never caused a single problem… I fully support and encourage you to do what’s in your family’s best interest. Thank you for 13 faithful years to L5. We wish you all the best that God has for you!”
Please join us in celebrating Matt’s years of ministry and praying for him and his family as they step into this next chapter.

Nashville, TN (April 15th, 2025) – Few groups on the road today share the long-standing history that The Hoppers represent within Southern Gospel music. While the family has faced a plethora of obstacles throughout the years, including considerable health concerns, the group has continuously forged ahead with the mission of sharing the Gospel through song. As the award-winning family group quickly approaches their seventh decade of ministry, The Hoppers have announced a new season as they move into the future.

After 10 Christmas Seasons at The Browns Century Theater located on the corner of Central Ave. Downtown Le Mars. The Browns have outgrown the space. With a capacity of 150 people per show, and adding extra shows to accommodate demand, but still not being able to find seats for many people, we have been planning the next phase for a couple years.
For the past 5+ years we have been performing around 35-40 shows during November and December. With additional 60 shows throughout March-October!
The week of Thanksgiving, Dad (Keith) mentioned his idea about moving the Theater directly behind the current Theater to the building that replaced the Historic Opera House. The building is large enough to fit a 400 seat Theater. Double the space for the Gift Shoppe, Chocolate counters, concessions, and larger bathrooms.
Construction on the New Theater will begin March 1st with an opening date in October of 2025. We are excited for triple the space and no stairs.
January 2025 will be The Browns 25th Anniversary of singing together as a family and this is one of the exciting ways we will continue to share our love of music with others!
